OCN Common Core Skills & Knowledge Training
In order to register on the Ofsted Voluntary Childcare Register and/or comply with Ofsted requirements childcarers are required to undertake Common Core Skills & Knowledge Training. Perfect Nanny service is working in partnership with Babyem to provide the Common Core Skills & Knowledge Training accredited through OCN (Level 3), which meets the 6 common core skills areas required by Ofsted. Babyem also offers a free CV consultancy service for candidates.
Date: Courses take place on a monthly basis. Please see below on booking system.
Cost: £140 (+£30 registration fee that can be paid on the day if wanting to gain the OCN qualification)
Course content:
- Communicating with children, young people, their parents and carers
- Child and young person development
- Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the child
- Supporting transitions
- Multi-agency working
- Sharing information
- Knowing your rights and responsibilities and professional development

Please note this is a 1 day course, candidates are given 5 weeks to complete course work to achieve the Level 3, OCN qualification.
