Below outlines what we would expect from our Live In Nanny:

• Live In Nanny is responsible for working between 10 and 12 hours per day 5 days per week (many families require 2 nights babysitting included in the salary).
• Live In Nannies agree to work longer hours for a higher salary
• Live In Nanny is able to care for children of all ages
• Live In Nanny would be expected to also carry out some domestic duties including washing and ironing the children’s clothes, preparation of meals, keeping the childrens bedrooms tidy, shopping for the household, driving the children, educational activities such as teaching a second language, arranging play-dates and other extracurricular activities.
• A live in nanny will be given their own bedroom and private area to enjoy when they are not working.
• In London a live in nanny with more than 3 years professional experience will command a salary of  between £300 and £450 net per week. Dependant on family requirements and nanny’s experience.
• Live in nannies working abroad command higher salaries of £550 to £950 net per week depending on the requirements of the family.
• 24 hour live in nannies will expect salaries of over £500 net per week.
• Less experienced live in Nannies working fewer hours will be happy with a salary of £250 net per week.
• Live in nannies would expect to travel with the family if required and offer 24 hour live in cover while the parents are away.  If this is required then a pre-agreed salary for that period of time would be agreed.
