This course provides participants with an effective approach in how to best manage challenging behaviour and build relationships with children and their families. Participants will have the opportunity to draw on past and current experiences, whilst applying key theory learnt throughout the day.

The course will be facilitated by an Educational and Child Psychologist with extensive experience in working with children from 0-19 years and particular expertise in children's emotional and behavioural development, special needs and parenting support.

Course Content: Participants will have the chance to: Understand the purpose of behaviour and how it fits with children's emotional needs, think about behaviour within the context of their specific work circumstances, explore the importance of language when managing behaviour, reflect and develop a personal approach that is based on existing strengths and is realistic and easy to implement, and further acquire practical strategies to deal with challenging behaviour.

Venue: Central London, Raddisson Hotel.
